Julianna Elizabeth  Beck
It is with great sadness that the family of Julianna Elizabeth Beck, 77, of Bridgewater and formerly of Feltzen South, announces her passing on Sunday, May 6th, 2018, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Feltzen South, she was a daughter of the late Emerson and Lola (Corkum) Levy.

Julianna began her working career in the clothing factory in Upper LaHave, shortly after, she married Arnold and stayed home to raise her family as well as sewing scallop bags for Scotia Trawler. After her family had grown, she went to work at National Sea for a number of years until her health forced her to retire.

Julianna was very active in her community, as a member of St. John’s by the Sea Lutheran Church in Feltzen South, the LCW, St. John’s Quilters, past member of the Trinity Rug Hookers in Riverport, the Wednesday night card club, as well as a member of the Christian Women’s Group in Bridgewater.

Julianna loved to get together with friends and family and enjoyed many memorable meals. She made many hooked rugs, quilted items and too many knitted treasures to mention.

Julianna is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Gordon) Rogers, Bridgewater; son, Merrill, Tanner’s Settlement; sisters, Sylvia (Lloyd) Creaser, Bridgewater, Debbie (Paul) Smith, Feltzen South; brother, Lowell (Sheila), Feltzen South; step-grandchildren, Crystal Hann and Jeff Rogers; step-great-grandchildren, Camden and Catherine as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold in 1999.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg, where a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Interment will be in Feltzen South Cemetery, Feltzen South.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
